After Latest Updates, Taylor Frankie Paul, Dakota Mortensen Investigation Directions Unveiled

The investigation into domestic violence incidents involving Taylor Frankie Paul and ex Dakota Mortensen in February has been transferred from the Draper Police Department to the district attorney’s office. Chief Rich Ferguson of the Draper Police Department stated that the city prosecutor reviewed the case thoroughly and forwarded it to the Salt Lake County district attorney’s office for evaluation.

The next step in Taylor and Dakota’s case, stemming from an alleged domestic dispute, awaits a decision from the district attorney’s office regarding potential charges. Tate Paul, Taylor’s ex-husband, raised concerns about her mother’s involvement in coaching their daughter following a domestic dispute in 2023.

If charges are not filed by the district attorney’s office, the city prosecutor will consider further actions based on that decision. Draper City plans to release all public information related to the police investigation once a decision on charges is made. Taylor Frankie Paul has been involved in multiple domestic violence investigations.

In a recent development, Dakota sought a temporary restraining order against Taylor and temporary custody of their son, Ever. Taylor expressed gratitude towards ABC for supporting her and her children amid the ongoing situation. Dakota reported a third alleged domestic abuse dispute involving Taylor to the West Jordan Police Department in February.
